Ses membres sont \u00e9lus par les adh\u00e9rents au cours d\u2019une assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. La dur\u00e9e de leur mandat est de trois ans. Les membres du conseil scientifique sont choisis par le conseil d\u2019administration pour un mandat de deux ans, renouvelable. On a d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans cette association dig\u00e9r\u00e9 la pilule de : \u00ab Tant pis, c\u2019e\u00fbt \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable que \u00e7a n\u2019arrive pas ; mais maintenant que c\u2019est arriv\u00e9, que fait-on ?\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Les pouvoirs publics font tr\u00e8s bien tout ce qui est en amont, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la pr\u00e9vention, le fait de faire une radioth\u00e9rapie plus cibl\u00e9e, plus adapt\u00e9e, plus intelligente ; mais de toutes mani\u00e8res, quoiqu\u2019on fasse, il y aura toujours un petit contingent et ce petit contingent ce sont des gens et ces gens ils existent. Derri\u00e8re les radios, il y a quelqu\u2019un et ce quelqu\u2019un a besoin d\u2019\u00eatre aid\u00e9 et je veux bien \u00eatre une des personnes qui veut bien les aider.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr Pierre-Fran\u00e7ois PRADAT &#8211; <\/strong><strong>Neurologue, <\/strong><strong>H\u00f4pital La Piti\u00e9-Salp\u00eatri\u00e8re<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai surtout eu la chance de pouvoir rencontrer Monsieur Herv\u00e9 LIONEL-MARIE et de me rendre compte que ce qu\u2019il pouvait apporter \u00e0 cette th\u00e9matique qui m\u2019int\u00e9ressait \u00e9t\u00e9 absolument d\u00e9terminant et qu\u2019il pouvait apporter des choses que moi j\u2019\u00e9tais incapable de fournir.<\/p>\n<p>Alors on a parl\u00e9 du financement de la recherche, c\u2019est vrai qu\u2019il y a le financement institutionnel mais il est insuffisant. Donc il y a besoin que la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile vienne apporter son support. Donc le r\u00f4le d\u2019une association dans cette optique est absolument essentiel.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a une autre chose c\u2019est de pouvoir dialoguer avec les pouvoirs publics. Et on sait que l\u2019\u00e9volution actuelle qui est d\u2019ailleurs, peut-\u00eatre et m\u00eame sans doute, une bonne \u00e9volution et que les interlocuteurs des pouvoirs publics ne sont plus les m\u00e9decins mais sont les associations de patients. Donc l\u2019\u00e8re des m\u00e9decins tout-puissants que les ministres consultaient, c\u2019est du pass\u00e9.
